Im definitely banning the word ass if English people persist in using it to describe their posteriors, rather than a four legged beast of burden. Nothing wrong with Yanks doing it, but when Geordies do, its just wrong.

Im not defending Chuck Bell here by any means, but the GA was letting the civic center go in one ear and out the other long before Bell got to DSU.

Some folks figure this is a Gordian Knot which must be severed by cuttingwhether by conservative or progressive slices, wont matter much. I hope this will not prove to be sobecause of the immediate confusion and disorder that will distract the churches, and also because of the bitterness and resentment that will not be forgotten soon by those who feel obliged to leave their home church or denomination, rather than violate their consciences. Others strive for an interim consensual unity of the churches, hoping that other means of resolution will ultimately prevail. This is frustrating, too. So far, about 35-40 years have elapsed without noticeable headway one way or another under this approach.

Im impressed, I ought to say. Extremely rarely do I come across a weblog thats both informative and entertaining, and let me tell you, youve hit the nail on the head. Your weblog is critical; the problem is some thing that not enough folks are talking intelligently about. Im actually happy that I stumbled across this in my search for some thing relating to this problem.

If the United States had been a liberal government from the start, we never would have had slavery. We never would have had Indian genocide (its easy to forget that the USs treatment of the Cherokee people, who were trying to embrace their American future, is one of its sorriest, most loathsome chapters). Women, people who dont own property and minorities you know, those conservatively-defined second-class people? would have had the right to vote from day one. The EPA, not the DEA, would be the draconian governmental department out to save the people!

One more wouldn't hurt now, would it?
