Giving Heanor its due

There's a new addition to the ranks of UK mapping websites with the long-awaited launch of Google Maps UK. Here's a cropped screenshot of what the front page looks like...

Notice how the most significant place of note between Sheffield and Birmingham is not Nottingham, or Derby, or Burton, but Heanor?

It's wonderful that Google has finally given this small, declining, uninteresting market town the national recognition it deserves. Hee hee!

Is Langley Mill on there yet?

And when are you going to write about the killer asteroid?

I've been reading through some of your archives and I have to say your writing style is becoming really very good. Keep up the good work.

Wossname.

p.s. Sorry I never write. Or do much of anything come to think of it.

can I use picture 08 Jpeg of a railway line in winter from Google images, please? I want to superimpose a poem I've written. I usually take my own shots but this was when returning from a funeral in February in London and I didn't have my camera with me.
No one has ever bought a poem and I have never published any.
