After some template-oriented dexterity, TypeKey authentication should now be working. This means that if you have a TypeKey account (it's free to get one, and it'll serve the same purpose across many other weblogs), then you can completely bypass my lazy and increasingly infrequent moderation of the comment queue. Your comment will appear immediately, I'll have less work to do, and real, lag-free comment discussion will ring out across trioptimum.co.uk, bringing joy and colour to the world once more.
Anyway, I think it all works now. Give it a try.
The dusted-off comment templates are a bit ugly, but that's superficial... I'll see to it another time.
