If you assumed that the scarcity of entries lately is an indication that I'm leading an active social life, lose 5 points. The reality is that I've been working on this thesis every day, and have no choice but to continue to do so until October when it will be safely handed in and I can resume worrying about the next set of life's hurdles. So updates will probably continue to be a little sporadic for a while.
The heatwave currently searing this country shows no real signs of abating (although as I write this there is a half-arsed thunderstorm going on outside. It's just about the most pitiful, placid thunderstorm I've ever seen). Temperatures like these, in my view, do not make life pleasant, and whenever I speak to somebody who perversely thrives upon such unnaturally high temperatures I get an urge to set them on fire.
On a personal note (and I apologise just this once for using the blog as a vector for communicating with friends, but in this case it may be the quickest and best way) it's my 25th birthday tomorrow, and I'm suffering from a shortage of plans. If anyone I know in Nottingham fancies meeting up at the pub, going to see a movie, or even just coming over for drinks and DVDs, let me know.
That "half-arsed" thunderstorm rained on my bbq! See my blog - http://www.x3ja.co.uk/archives/000706.html

Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to get something done.
"All depends on the size of the database you plan to host, tho I would think it'd have to be somewhat hefty to require a hosting charge...hosting companies usually charge based on two things: traffic bandwidth and amount of memory space used on the server."
