Nice day today. Very nice day. Walked down to the river to take some photos with my tiny cheap L'Espion camera to test it out on scenery.
Two things got in the way of this plan:
- The path into the nature reserve was closed for repair, so I couldn't go any further than the marina,
- My tiny cheap L'Espion camera developed Teri Bauer-like symptoms of amnesia and repeatedly erased the photos I'd already taken, even after I switched the battery for a new one.
Maybe I need to look into getting a proper digital camera sometime. By which I mean one that costs somewhat more than £28.50 and doesn't have an attachment for use as a keyring.
It doesn't matter though. Because it's still a perfect day for a walk.
I did get some photos. Click the one above to see the rest.

Not bad at all! I quite like the warpy effect.

Ah, a professional photographer in the making I see ;-)
Mysterious...who are you then?
Somebody enigmatic and cryptic, I expect. Hello mysterious stranger.
As for the warpy effect, it's a side effect of the imperfect lens in this cheap camera, I think. You don't really notice it on photos taken indoors but in bright natural light it produces that surreal radial blur effect. Actually I don't mind it.
Tried to get my hands on a proper camera at the weekend but my plans were thwarted. Will see what I can do about taking one of the house...

Dammit.
