My weblog was one year old on Friday! Typically, I missed this momentous milestone, which would have been celebrated by live music and fireworks over Buckingham Palace.
I recall making a pledge a few months ago to write 100 entries in 4 months. My guilty conscience tells me that I probably didn't meet that pledge. (Actually, I just checked... almost 4 months have elapsed and I've written 48 entries, including this one.) But that's okay, because I can go back and delete the post in which I said it, and pretend it never happened! I love revisionism.
In all seriousness, I'm disappointed that I didn't manage to update daily or even bi-daily over the last few months. There are phases when I managed to, and other phases where a week passed between entries. My life's really not that interesting, so I'll have to try to concoct fictional tales and amusing hoax anecdotes to pad out the weblog. Or I could talk at length about obscure stuff that none of my readers is even slightly interested in...
Wait, it's a weblog. I should be doing that anyway!
Hang around for year two. I may not be getting any better at this thing, but at least I'm not getting any worse.
Heyyyyy it's SAD to update too often. I'm trying to update LESS frequently. Seriously, daily updates to your weblog should not be an ambition. When you do update, you always have something interesting to say! Panic not.
