I left the house at 9am, walked down the river and had an extended wander around Attenborough nature reserve. Returned to the house at about 10:30am to do some work. ~ 5 miles.
At midday, walked into Beeston to get some cash and do some shopping. Walked back home. ~ 1.5 miles.
Midafternoon, realised to my dismay that I needed a prescription for tomorrow, walked over to the university campus to arrange it, walked back home. ~ 3.5 miles.
Evening, walked to the chip shop and back to get some chips (evidently my body craved something unhealthy to offset all the exercise). ~ 0.5 miles.
In a normal day I walk an average distance of - and therefore am conditioned to most easily deal with - less than a mile. Today, I walked somewhere in the region of 10.5 miles.
If my feet could speak, they'd be swearing very colourfully at me right now.
Well I'm impressed.
Yay!
Owe you an email. On it.
